Fresh apples add a lot of flavor, the bran is nutty and sweet. These muffins are a great opportunity to use a heritage wheat you’ve never tried, like Einkorn, Kamut, or buffalo wheat. Einkorn is nature’s first and oldest wheat, grown by farmers over 5000 years ago.
