Ingredients
- ½ cucumber
- 2 cups frozen berries (mix of raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries)
- 4 leaves of kale cleaned (chopped or 1 cup packed spinach or watercress)
- 1 scoop protein powder
- ½ cup unsweetened plant-based milk
- 1 banana
- 1 lemon (peeled and chopped)
- I tablespoon hemp (chia, or ground flaxseeds)
Instructions
- Chop the vegetables and fruits into bite-sized chunks. Allow the berries to defrost enough so that they blend easily.
- Blend the banana, berries, and protein powder with just enough water to cover.
- Add the cucumber, and kale/spinach/watercress. Add the hemp or chia seeds. Blend until smooth. You shouldn’t need ice because the berries are still slightly frozen.
- Pour into glasses or an opaque container and enjoy!
