Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon spirulina powder
- 2 teaspoon maca root powder
- 1 teaspoon ashwagandha powder
- 3 tablespoons hempseeds
- 1 orange (peeled, segmented)
- 1 lemon (peeled, diced)
- 1½ cup berries
- 1½ cup greens (spinach, dandelion, kale, chard…)
- 1 sprig of mint or parsley
- Filtered water
- Ice
Instructions
- Add the adaptogens, hempseeds, lemon, and orange to the blender with water to cover, about 1 cup. Blend together. Add the greens, fresh herbs, and berries. Blend until smooth. Add as much ice as desired. If needed, add water. Blend and serve.
Notes
All the adaptogens can be purchased online. Just make sure you buy the best, highest quality ones you can find. With adaptogens and spirulina quality counts. You can also substitute chlorella for spirulina. If you have access to dandelion greens grown in organic soil, try them, they’re really high in phytonutrients.
