Ingredients

  • ½ cucumber
  • 2 cups frozen berries (mix of raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and blackberries)
  • 4 leaves of kale cleaned (chopped or 1 cup packed spinach or watercress)
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • ½ cup unsweetened plant-based milk
  • 1 banana
  • 1 lemon (peeled and chopped)
  • I tablespoon hemp (chia, or ground flaxseeds)

Instructions

  1. Chop the vegetables and fruits into bite-sized chunks. Allow the berries to defrost enough so that they blend easily.
  2. Blend the banana, berries, and protein powder with just enough water to cover.
  3. Add the cucumber, and kale/spinach/watercress. Add the hemp or chia seeds. Blend until smooth. You shouldn’t need ice because the berries are still slightly frozen.
  4. Pour into glasses or an opaque container and enjoy!
