Ingredients
- 2 cups chopped kale
- 1 banana (peeled, chopped)
- 2 cara cara or blood oranges (peeled, cut into segments)
- ½ cup unsweetened almond milk (or a nut milk of your choice, brazil nut milk is a good option)
- 2 tablespoons hemp seeds
- 1 tablespoon bee pollen
- 2 teaspoons maca powder
- Filtered water (about 1 cup)
- Ice (about 1 cup)
Instructions
- Add all the ingredients to the blender, with barely enough water to cover. (You want a creamy smoothie, not a watery thin one.)
- Blend until smooth.
- Add the almond milk and ice. Blend for another 20 seconds or so.
- Serve in 2 big glasses.
