Ingredients
- 1 small chunk of ginger (about an inch, coarsely grated or chopped)
- 1 lemon (peeled, quartered)
- 1 cup frozen blueberries (strawberries, raspberries (or any combination you prefer))
- 1 banana (peeled, chopped)
- 1 stalk of celery (chopped)
- ½ cup fresh parsley or mint (leaves and stems)
- 2–3 big leaves of kale (chopped)
- 1 scoop protein powder
- Filtered water
- Ice
Instructions
- Place berries, ginger, lemon, banana, and protein powder in a blend with just barely enough water to cover and blend.
- Add the celery, parsley, and kale, and blend until smooth.
- Once smooth, add as much ice as you want, and blend again until incorporated, about 30 seconds.
- Drink immediately.
